I went to see Amanda Palmer last night in a very, very packed Sugar Club. An enjoyable if sometimes childish gig, but man does she have a voice. Anyway there is a lot of silly controversy at the moment about the song Oasis of her new album – she writes about it over on the Huffington Post.

Personally I think this song is kind of poor, but the point is more about the hysterical reaction to context and lyrics.
